To be blunt: I have serious concerns that rescheduling marijuana from a schedule I to schedule III-controlled substance may violate U.S. treaty obligations under the Single Convention on Narcotic Drugs.
Recent efforts to reschedule marijuana must be based on scientific evidence—not the favored policy of a particular administration. @DEAhq must follow the law and abide by our treaty commitments.
