After all the lessons learned from COVID-19 and the baby formula shortage, you would expect our federal agencies to be better equipped to quickly address and respond to emerging outbreaks like the current bird flu virus. Unfortunately, that hasn’t been the case. We need a comprehensive, interagency effort to better understand this outbreak and take whatever actions may be necessary to keep Americans safe.
